Cultural Youth Movement Education Foundation (CYMEF) with Registration Number: 176900, formerly Cultural Youth Initiative Movement of Nigeria (CYIMN) Cultural Youth Initiative Movement of Nigeria (CYIMN),is a non-governmental youth focused organisation established in 2013 with membership and presence in nearly 90 Universities, Polytechnics and Colleges of Education in Nigeria.
It identifies and address the root causes of the ongoing violent conflicts and ethno-religious crises in Nigeria and around Africa while mobilizing young people to contribute to peace, security, climate change, human right and human dignity, gender justice, and the disarmament.
Moreover, we support youth led and youth focused organisations and young leaders in their efforts to develop strategies to fight hunger, poverty and injustice including an all-round development and engagement of Children, Youth, Women and people with disabilities on issues that directly affects them. Our team has been committed to this course over the years and has a record of success.
We work closely with diverse national and international organisations and advocacy groups and a partner to many who share the same missions with us.
We work around the globe to save lives, defeat poverty and achieve social justice.

We are a member of many national and international organisations and advocacy groups such as CIVICUS World Alliance for Citizen Participation, International Campaign to Abolish nuclear weapons, Campaign to Stop Killer Robots ICAN, Pan Africa Climate Change Capacity Building Alliance PACJA, Climate and Sustainable Development of Nigeria (CSDevNet) and a partner to many who share the same missions with us.

The organization, consisting of experienced advocates and volunteers has a child safeguarding policy and has successfully carried out projects self-funded and internationally funded and participated in several conferences on the welfares and dignity of children. These positions it at the center of being capable of handling related projects.
In January 2022, the project, “Climate Change Capacity Building for and with Children in Nigeria” funded by the World Council of Churches, Geneva which was run in the 11 states of the South West and South East of Nigeria, reaching over 35,000 school children, over 10,000 teachers and Commissioners of Education in the states was concluded in grandstyle. The project facilitated the conscious review of educational scheme in the states, thereby accommodating climate-related subjects in schools. It also enjoyed overwhelming attraction and love from other states.
